Here is what I did in order to get it successfully installed. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. This change has been made to ensure that the Creative Cloud software is using runtimes that Microsoft is currently supporting. I could check for the hotfix during the install script but all of the methods I've found to do this are either too slow or unreliable.
